Cubs vs. Cards

It's time again to head to St. Louis and go against the division-leading Cardinals. The Cubs are two back and this series starts a tough couple of weeks. First the Cards, then on to the South Side to face the White Sox. Back to Wrigley for Houston and finally the Sox again. If they can come out of this as close to first as they are now, it could easily propel them to even better things after the All-Star break.

Alex has posted the pitching match-ups. Too bad the first two games are on FSN instead of WGN since now I'll just have to live with the audio feed.

"Division-leading Cardinals," that's a hoot! Their pitching rotation is more washed-up than a raft full of driftwood. And I'll eat my hat if Tony Womack is within sniffing distance of .300 at the end of the year. Vapor! Their lead is made of vapor!
