The Irish were just beat by a better team yesterday. There isn't any other way to say it. You can see the talent gap between the two schools. I believe the gap will close as Charlie recruits over the next couple of years but it's still there as is the losing in bowls streak.
However, I am still excited about the upcoming years. The team made great leaps this year and now the bar is raised for next. The return of the offense skill players and hopefully a tougher defense should put them in the Top 5 for the preseason polls.
