Over the weekend, Firefox crashed on me. I had multiple windows open with generally multiple tabs in each window. I had so many things that I wanted to blog about but invariably instead of posting the link with some thoughts, I was looking to do mega-posts and that just wasn't happening. I was overwhelmed by everything open which is of course silly to type but was definitely real day-to-day. I have the SessionSaver extension so all of the windows would be recreated at startup so instead of relaunching Firefox, I decided to just use Safari for a bit. So far so good.
While this might seem like a very small thing, it was still something which caused me stress. I needed a fresh start and the browser crashing helped me with that. Yesterday, I listened to Merlin's podcast, talking about resolutions, big changes and failure. My change would definitely be characterized as modest but it did give me a fresh start. That is what is important this time of year, fresh starts and small changes in the way you do things.
