Kevin Burton announces the release of a couple of project forks he's been working on. The first is the Jakarta FeedParser which actually isn't a fork but just a branch on the source tree. Definitely something I will be looking into a bit more in the future. I haven't been entirely pleased with either Rome or Informa.
The other project is a fork of Torque I used Torque back in my days of developing against Turbine. Before Hibernate, there was Torque. Kevin looks like he's add some good stuff to it especially if you are using MySQL.
