Having lived thru many games where Kyle Farnsworth came in, walked a few and then gave up a hit to lose a lead, I have a bit of sympathy for James but then again, he is rooting for the Yankees so the majority of it is gone.
He does make an excellent point about the infuriating decision by managers many times in how they use their bullpen. A few years ago, Dusty Baker would just leave the starters in and let the pitch counts get higher and higher but now he's much quicker with the hook. It's a fine line for the managers but it does seem they look to the book too quick sometimes instead of staying with a hot pitcher.
