Strangeberry has updated their JRendezvous library. It's interesting that now Safari will show any service registered. I'm going to have to see if this really works so that I can access a service on a Linux box from both my Mac and Safari. Now that would make things interesting.
I found this cool tutorial on creating items in the status bar. The Cocoa app I'm working on could benefit greatly from this. I really like the idea of keeping something in the background yet having easy access to it.
My app isn't going to be earth-shattering but I'm writing it for a couple of reasons. One is to really get my hands dirty in regards to Cocoa and the other is to write something that I could use in my day-to-day routine.
So, I have three basic projects I'm thinking of right now. That number could easily change tomorrow but for now, I'm keeping it. In the past, I would continually refocus myself on certain projects but nothing seemed to help me keep working on them consistently. Now I'm trying something new.
My plan is to focus on an individual project each week. That allows me to work on something without the internal worry about ignoring something else. So far this week it's working.
Ok, that's a really silly title but this app looks really cool and you can't beat the price.
So, I've started another blog. Well, actually, I hope this to be more of a warehouse of ideas and links but you never know where it might end up. I currently have ideas for three coding projects and I hope to use this as a place to document what I learn.
Hopefully it will be educational to all.
